The College runs two Aspire pathways: Aspire University Pathway and Aspire Employability Pathway
The Aspire University Pathway provides high-achieving students with targeted advice, support and guidance to enable them to make successful applications to the most competitive courses as the most prestigious universities.
The on-going, focused support the College offers students, results in acceptances at the UK's Russell Group Universities including Oxford and Cambridge and on the most competitve courses, such as Medicine and Law.
At the heart of the Aspire Pathway is a weekly seminar. Seminar groups are small are are led by a dedicated tutor whose role is to guide students through the programme. For more information, please read the Aspire University Pathway leaflet.
The Aspire Employability Pathway provides tailor-made advice and support to students who are interested in finding out about alternatives to the traditional university route after College. It aims to provide a platform from which students can explore their interests and build on their employability skills.
Employers are increasingly investing in college leavers through apprenticeships, college leaver schemes and sponsored degrees. These routes offer a legitimate career path in a wide variety of industries. Recent past students have secured positions at organisations such as CGI, KPMG, Nestle, Total Gas and Power and Unilever. Please read the Aspire Employability Pathway leaflet for more details.
All students are are kept informed (via the weekly student bulletin) about the careers-related activities they can get involved in via the College e.g. Careers Fairs and Guest Speaker events.
