Reigate College Careers Department has held the Investor in Careers Award since 2006

Situated in E106, upstairs in the new Enhancement Building, Reigate College’s Careers Resource Centre is open every day from 9.00am to 4.00pm (term-time only) and is staffed by friendly, well qualified Careers staff.

The Careers team offer help and guidance to students throughout the year.  The department:
  • Advise and support students through the university application process (UCAS)
  • Help with applications to specialist colleges eg. Art and Performing Arts Colleges
  • Help with work experience placements
  • Advise on job and apprenticeship opportunities
  • Assist with job applications, CV writing and mock interviews
  • Give individual advice and guidance to students
  • Provide information about taking a Gap Year
  • Contribute to the College Tutorial Programme
  • Run targeted progression events
  • Organise an annual University Fair onsite with nearly 100 institutions attending
  • Organise an annual Careers Fair onsite attended by local and national companies
  • Produce a weekly Careers Bulletin
  • Hold ‘Industry Fridays’ at lunchtime in the New Refectory, focusing on an industry each Friday.  Students can drop in to enquire about routes into the different professions and industries.
  • Schedule lunchtime talks by Employers offering Apprenticeships, College Leaver Schemes and Sponsored Degrees.
Careers Bulletin
Careers Bulletins are emailed to students on a weekly basis. The latest edition can be downloaded from here.
Careers Calendar 
The careers calendar is accessible via the main College Calendar.
Information regarding Careers Events is sent out each term with the students interim reports and parents will be emailed reminders.  Please ensure that the College office have an up to date email address.
