Professional stage awaits Upper Sixth students

Reigate College BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts (Acting) students have been invited to perform in the Shakespeare School Festival at Leatherhead Theatre on Tuesday 7 November at 7pm. This amazing opportunity will enable them to experience the thrill of performing in a professional theatre in front of a live audience, as BTEC Acting teacher Zoe-Ann Dunkley explains: ‘This is a great opportunity for our students to take part and to work alongside professional practitioners and other local schools. The students have been working really hard on creating a diverse and creative piece for their Shakespeare unit and we wanted to showcase their outstanding talents.’

The group will perform Macbeth, and all are welcome to come and support them: tickets, which are already selling fast, are available from 01372365141 or http://www.theleatherheadtheatre.org/event.php?id=1641.

Another BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts Class will be taking part in an exciting and challenging outreach project in the New Year – watch this space for more details!
