Students perform at BAFTA Charity Film Awards ceremony in Piccadilly, London

On 15th March, current students Ben Clark and Milly Thorpe, together with former student Dan Rimmer performed to a packed audience of movers and shakers at the BAFTA Charity Film Awards ceremony in London’s Piccadilly.
 
Upper Sixth student Milly Thorpe said, ‘We performed ‘Don’t dream it’s over’ by Crowded House.  I was so nervous, but it was an amazing experience.”  Milly, who’s studying A Levels in Drama and Media and a BTEC in Musical Theatre, is planning on studying Drama at uni.
 
Milly, Ben and Dan have been regular performers at New Music Nights and will be appearing at this Year’s New Music Fest in Colley Lane in Reigate on June 17th.
 
Dan is taking a gap year, performing with band Bedroom Boredom and Ben has a place to study Jazz Guitar at the prestigious Leeds Conservatoire from September.
