Six of the College’s former students returned to kick-off our three Apprenticeship and Employment Pathway Launch Events last night. Over 300 Upper Sixth students and their parents/carers, benefitted from their enthusiastic insights into life as an apprentice and what it takes to be one.
Students then took part in a hands-on workshop hosted by apprenticeship specialists Investment 2020 to start honing their CV, while parents and carers found out more from our Careers team about how to support their young person’s search for the right opportunities.
Ellen Walkinshaw, Director (Progression) said, “The event was just the start of the support that students can access during their Upper Sixth year as part of their App & Emp Careers Pathway as they map out their next steps after College.”
A huge thank you to our past students and all the staff involved in this extremely successful event.
