Aspiring make-up artists get into the spotlight

Budding make-up artists have the opportunity to get to grips with applying make-up for a variety of scenarios and characters during the Make-up classes offered via the College’s Activities programme.  As well as developing their own skill-base, students’ new found skills are put to good use, when they work back-stage doing the make-up for a whole range of shows performed by the College’s Performing Arts students.  These include the College’s annual ‘Hot Feet’ dance show in December and performing arts productions such as the recently staged and highly acclaimed, ‘Into the Woods’.

Head of BTEC Performing Arts teacher Zoe Dunkley commented, “Our heartfelt thanks goes to Nicole Kenway, Saanya Zaidi, Keshika Ramful, Connie Edwards, Melissa Newman and Megha Patel.  The make-up was brilliant and the standard of professionalism outstanding! Thank you”.
