Why did you choose Reigate College?

It was a natural choice for me. I have family and friends who’d been and I’d heard great things about it.

Has it lived up to expectations?

Definitely. I love it here and will be really sad to leave.

Which is your favourite subject and why?

I’d have to say Fashion & Textiles. I was brought up to be creative and I’ve always enjoyed making things. I love the hands-on, making side of the course. It’s brilliant turning paintings and ideas into fabrics that you can then use to make garments.

I’ve really enjoyed researching designers and going to exhibitions, including our study day to Brighton.

I’ve loved Travel & Tourism and Business too and they seem to complement Fashion & Textiles really well.

What are your plans for after College?

I’ve got a place at the University of Creative Arts (UCA) in Epsom to do a Foundation Year in Art & Design. I’m then hoping to stay on to do a BA degree and then who knows? Perhaps own my own business, and work as a wedding dress designer.
