An additional way that learning and thinking skills can be further improved through the curriculum is by taking the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in the Upper Sixth.

This is a nationally recognised qualification which attract UCAS points and can help develop an individual’s analysis and research skills.

The EPQ is equivalent to an AS and enables students to study a topic in depth, which extends their learning either in an area which relates to their academic programme, future career path or their personal interests. It is a highly valued qualification by both universities and employers as it develops project management skills, in-depth research and presentation skills.

See EPQ and the presentation from the EPQ Parents' Information Evening 2018 for more information.
