Reigate College is once again running a Music Summer School, aimed at current Year 11 students who’ve applied to do A Level Music, A Level Music Technology or BTEC Music at the College from September 2022.

The course involves 30 hours of intensive music-making, during which students write, perform and record a collaborative album, giving them the opportunity to work together in a creative environment and pick up a range of hands-on practical skills that will then give them a great head start when starting at College in September.

The only requirements for the Music Summer School are that all participants can sing or play a typical band instrument (guitar, bass, keyboard or drums) to a reasonable standard (approx Grade 4 or above) and have an interest in learning more about the technical side of Music production and writing.

Dates and Times:  Monday 25 to Friday 29 July 2022 (5 days), 10am – 4pm

Venue: Holmesdale Music Centre, Reigate College

Tickets: The cost for the week is £260 payable as a £100 deposit (upon booking your place) and two additional payments of £80 (due 1 May and 1 June 2022). You will be contacted to make the additional payments ahead of the payment deadlines.

The College is able to offer one funded or part funded place on the course thanks to the generous support of New Music Nights, a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers in Reigate, Surrey. Funding will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
