Reigate College is once again running a Music Summer School, aimed at current Year 11 students who’ve applied to study A Level Music, A Level Music Technology or BTEC Music at the College from September 2024.

The course involves 30 hours of intensive music-making, during which students write, perform and record a collaborative album, giving them the opportunity to work together in a creative environment and pick up a range of hands-on practical skills that will then give them a great head start when starting at College in September.

The only requirements for the Music Summer School are that all participants can sing or play a typical band instrument (guitar, bass, keyboard or drums) to a reasonable standard (approx, Grade 4 or above) and have an interest in learning more about the technical side of Music production and writing.

Dates and Times:  Monday 22 to Friday 26 July 2024 (5 days), 10am – 4pm

Venue: Holmesdale Music Centre, Reigate College

Tickets: The cost for the week is £260. To book, please reserve a place in the student’s name and pay a £100 deposit. When you come to checkout, under ‘Additional Information’ please note the grade/ability level for any instruments played/vocals.

Two further payments of £80 each will be due on or before 1 May and 1 June respectively.
