Our thanks to Grace Herman who led an Urban Dance workshop for Upper Sixth BTEC Level 3 Dance students on Wednesday 29th January.

As well as teaching and leading the students through a series of urban dance moves (check out the video on the College’s Facebook page), Grace also led a Q&A session where she shared her audition tips and gave an insight into what it’s like studying Dance at university level.

She was delighted to be asked back to College, saying: “It’s great to be back and see some familiar faces. Studying Dance at Reigate College – and the friendships I made through the course – gave me a great start in life.”

Grace left Reigate College in 2019 having studied BTEC Level 3s in Dance, Sport and A Level Media Studies. During her time at College she also completed the Level 2 Community Dance Leadership course. She has competed internationally and is now studying Dance at the University of East London on the BA (Hons) Dance: Urban Practice course.
