Level 2 Community Sports Leadership

This Level 2 Award is a nationally recognised qualification that enables successful candidates to lead groups of people in a sport or activity, under indirect supervision.  It  gives an introduction to the basic skills of organising groups of people in safe, enjoyable physical activity sessions.

The qualification teaches general leadership skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through sport.

Students will cover the course over 2 lessons a week for one year.

This is a practical based course and includes a number of work placements in local primary schools contributing to 10 hours of voluntary work.

This course is fun and practical and a great first step for anyone thinking of doing further qualifications in teaching, coaching or sports development.
