Introductory Day is a day when new students have the chance to come in to College, join a temporary Tutor Group and try out their subject choices. So it’s a great opportunity to firm up your course choices and meet other students who will also be starting in September.
Subject to government guidelines, we’re still intending to run this year’s Introductory Days in person, and our September starters will be expected to attend ONE morning or afternoon session on either the 6 or 8 July.
You should have received a letter from our Admissions team, notifying you which session we would like you to attend on 6 or 8 July. If you haven’t received a letter, please email email@example.com
New Starters Course Activities
Don’t forget, all New Starters should be completing the New Starters Course Activities – that are being released 1 June, 1 July and 1 August. Completing these will give you an insight into what your courses will be like, so they’re really good to be getting on with, over the summer.
Introductory Day FAQs
It’s not unusual to still have lots of questions about different aspects of starting at College. Please take a look at our Introductory Day 2021 FAQs to find out the answers to commonly asked questions.
Parents’ Introductory Meeting – 3 September
We would normally hold a Parents’ Introductory Meeting to coincide with Introductory Day, but due to the ongoing issues and concerns with Covid, we have decided to offer a virtual ‘event’ instead.
This will take the form of a Principal’s Talk – that will be available to watch here from 3 September.
If you have some specific questions, that remain unanswered after listening to the Prinicpal’s Talk and reading the Introductory Day FAQs (above) please email firstname.lastname@example.org We will then get back to you by the end of term by email, phone or video call.
