Why did you choose Reigate College?

I wanted to do a mixture of A levels and BTECs, so as to keep my options open and get a balance between exams and coursework.

I picked Reigate College as it has excellent facilities and teachers, especially for the Performing Arts and I liked the idea of studying three subjects I’m very passionate about, rather than just doing one.

How did you find the move from school to College?

The environment was very welcoming and I found it very easy to make friends and connect with people.

Tell us about any College Enrichment activities you’ve been involved in?

I took part in the Cross-College Musical and all the College shows which were a good opportunity for me to choreograph and perform in front of a live audience.

I’m part of the Student Union which helped me build a strong foundation for networking in the future. Being part of the SU gave me the chance to use my voice as a student and come up with new and creative event ideas for the College community to help make everyone feel welcome and heard.

What’s your plan for when you leave College?

I’ve been offered places from all my choices including Bath Spa University, University of Roehampton and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

I’ve decided to study for a BA in Contemporary Dance at London Contemporary Dance School. I would like to pursue a career in Dance as a performer, alongside doing a Masters Degree in Dance Movement Therapy.
