Why did you choose Reigate College?

I chose Reigate because I felt it would give me a refreshing, new start.

How and why did you decide which subjects to study?

I knew I wanted to take History as it was my favourite subject at GCSE. The course content also really appealed to me. Politics has always been an interest of mine and I knew I wanted to expand my knowledge on the subject, especially as I grew more aware of current affairs. It’s been my favourite subject at College.

The Politics Department is amazing. There’s so much extra support provided by the teachers, who are all really enthusiastic.

English Literature was a last minute choice, but one I haven’t regretted.

How did you find the move from school to College?

The move from school to College was easy for me. I felt like I adjusted and adapted to the College lifestyle really well in a short amount of time.

Tell us about any College Enrichment activities you’ve been involved in

I was part of the Aspire Programme which has helped me hugely with my next steps after College.

What do you like most about being a student at Reigate College?

I love the independence that comes with being a student at College. I also love my subjects and more broadly, just the atmosphere around College.

What’s your plan for when you leave College?

I’m hoping to go to university to study Law. After I get my Law degree, I’d like to get a Masters and then establish myself in the world of work.
