Why did you choose Reigate College?

Being more academic the College offered the best courses for my chosen pathway and I really liked the feel of the learning environment.

How and why did you decide which subjects to study?

I based my College subjects on what I wanted to study at uni, which at the time I knew was a form of Engineering so the three courses I chose were obvious choices for me.

How did you find the move from school to College?

The first month was tricky as I hadn’t covered a lot of the content I should have covered at school, because of Covid, so there was a big gap in my knowledge that I had to catch up on.

The teachers were really understanding and offered loads of support to all of us.

Tell us about any College Enrichment activities you’ve been involved in outside regular teaching lessons

I was a part of the Aspire Programme and completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on Technology Development. The EPQ helped me decide which area of Engineering to study at uni and is also a good addition to my CV.

What’s your plan for when you leave College?

After uni I think I’d like to work in one of four areas: Aerospace, Spacecraft and Technology Design, Performance Vehicles or in the Defence Industry. They link to hobbies I’ve been involved in, including Army Cadets and F1 and Karting.
