How are you finding College?

I’m very much enjoying it. I’m on the Level 2 Intermediate programme as I didn’t get the GCSE results I’d have liked. I’m doing four BTEC Level 2 courses (as I’d already passed my Maths and English GCSEs) and I’m doing well on them. I’m going to get Distinctions in all of them other than IT, which means I can do Level 3 courses next year.

Which Level 3 courses are you going to do?

I’ve been doing Level 2 Business and have really enjoyed it, so will probably do the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business (the equivalent of two A Levels) and BTEC Performing Arts (Acting). I used to do a lot of acting outside school and so I’m keen to keep it going at College.

Would you recommend the Intermediate Programme?

Definitely! It gives you the chance to prove yourself and suits students who prefer a combination of assessed coursework and exams.

What are your plans for the future?

I’m hoping to start up a talent agency business so my choice of Level 3 courses should come in very useful! I’d like to run a talent show at College next year.
