How and why did you decide which subjects to study?
I knew I wanted to do essay-based subjects and I chose based on what I knew I would enjoy but also subjects that would give me options after College.
What have you enjoyed most about your courses?
English literature allows multiple different answers to the same questions which are shared during engaging class discussions. The texts we study are a big reason why I like English Lit because they’re so varied, so there’s always something different to look forward to.
I really enjoy Politics as I like how what we learn in class is applied in real life, in real time. I’ve always had an interest in History and I love that we get to study two completely different periods of History with the course.
What do you think makes Reigate College a good place to be a student?
The College provides the perfect balance between education and social life and I like that we’re given a lot more independence. Additional help is easily accessible and there are always multiple enrichment activities to get involved with.
What’s your plan for when you leave College?
I hope to study History and International relations at either Queen Mary University of London or City University of London. This course is ideal as it includes components of all three courses I currently study in one. I like the idea of Government work or something History focused.
