Why did you choose Reigate College?

I chose the College because it was local to me, offered the courses I liked and had a very good reputation.

How and why did you decide which subjects to study?

I chose my courses based on a mix of what my interests and strengths were. I did well in Geography and Business at GCSE. Travel & Tourism was new for me but because I was interested in the Travel industry I thought I’d enjoy the course.

How did you find the move from school to College?

I found the move to College very easy. I adapted well to the more mature way of studying and it forced me to learn basic time management skills. It meant I had to plan my time effectively and take more responsibility.

What do you like most about being a student at Reigate College?

I’ve really enjoyed the learning environment at College and the personal relationships you build with your teachers and the new relationships with your classmates. It’s also been great reconnecting with friends I hadn’t spoken to for years, our paths crossing again at College.

What are your plans for the future?

Through studying Travel & Tourism at College I developed an interest in the Aviation industry and I’m looking forward to studying Aviation Operations with Commercial Pilot Training at Kingston University as my next step.
