What made you choose Reigate College above anywhere else?
It’s a much more grown up environment than school. People are here because they want to be and it’s a great opportunity to make new like-minded friends.
How have you found the Fashion & Textiles course?
I love it! There’s a lot of drawing which I didn’t expect. I’ve enjoyed doing lots of experimental work – especially when it involves working on a sewing machine. I’d say you spend around 60% of your time researching and designing, and then around 40% actually making.
What about your History and Musical Theatre?
I love Musical Theatre. You get to be really close to people in your class as you work with them all the time in groups. History has been good too but it’s sometimes tricky getting through the combined workload of all your courses.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m hoping to join the Police Force and am already quite a long way through the process.
I know I will always keep up my joint passions of Textiles and Musical Theatre. It’s been brilliant spending two years doing two of the things I love most in the world!
What would you say to anyone thinking about coming to College?
Come! I had to take three different trains to and from College each day. It’s been really tough but I can honestly say it was absolutely worth the effort.
