Why did you decide to do the triple in Performing Arts?
I really liked the sound of it and thought it would help expand my knowledge of Musical Theatre and prepare me for whatever I decide to do after College.
Why did you decide to come to Reigate College, rather than a Performing Arts School?
I felt a Performing Arts School would be more intense and you’d have to be at a decent level in all areas to get in. With the triple Performing Arts course at Reigate – worth three A Levels – they pick people from a mix of performing arts areas and build everyone up as a group. We learn a lot from each other.
What have you enjoyed most about the course?
I love it when, as a company, we do a big ensemble number like “The Prologue” from “Into the Woods” or “Fame” from “Fame”, as all the harmonies come together and blend beautifully.
How did you find being in “Grease”? What did you like most about it?
“Grease” was an amazing show to be a part of as everyone, from the directors to the actors, to the techies got to know each other really well and together we made the show as good as we possibly could. I loved being part of a group of young performers and seeing how they improved on stage.
What are your plans for after College?
After College I’m going to continue with a Performance course at either the University of Chichester or Winchester. I really want to work on my dance skills as that’s the area I’m least confident in.
