Congratulations to past and present Reigate College students who were presented with their Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday 21st May. Among those receiving Awards were Kama Miller-Gambie, Oliver Watts, Olivia Fernandez, Samuel Stevens, Evie Spreadbury, Miles Pearce, Jacob Coombes and Oliver Baroni-Harrison.
Reigate College is a recognised DofE provider, meaning that it can offer a wide range of training courses in preparation for the expedition section – undoubtedly the most challenging element of the Programme – and students are also able to tie the ‘Skills’, ‘Volunteering’ and ‘Physical’ sections of the Gold Award into activities they do at College. In recognition of the College’s services to the DofE Programme, Chris Williams and Denise Coffey were presented with a certificate by the new Mayor of Reigate & Banstead at the Town Hall on Thursday 6th June.
