Trampolining success for two Reigate College students

Congratulations to Zara Munday and Ben Driskell, who were part of the South East Colleges’ team, who this weekend, won gold at the AoC Sport National finals.

Zara also won a silver medal for her individual performance.

The College Sport National Championships is one of the largest annual sporting events in England, involving over 1,800 college students and 200 staff.

Students qualify for the championships through regional tournaments that take place in the autumn term. As well as competing in their chosen sport, students compete for points for their region. The region whose teams and individuals accumulate the most points wins the prestigious Wilkinson Sword trophy.

The 2016 National Championships were held 15 - 17 April across Newcastle, Sunderland and Gateshead and engaged students in competitive sport as well as a number of voluntary roles.
