Uni partnership lays groundwork for computing success

As Reigate College enters UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) season, our Upper Sixth Computer Science pathway students got the inside track at a bespoke session delivered on site by the University of Surrey (16 October).

Organised by pathway lead Katya Martins Da Silva, the session informed students about how to be a successful applicant – with a specific focus on computing courses – and sharing top tips from those who end up reading the personal statements that students submit.

Katya said, “Students really appreciated this help as they make their applications for a university place. Thank you to Amanda Boissevain for visiting us and giving such valuable feedback on what it takes to succeed.”
