Green Week flourishes despite the rain

To celebrate this year’s Green Week (8-12 June), students took part in a range of activities such as bulb planting, upcycling and litter picking.

We also hosted local partners working in ecology and sustainability, such as Wild About Britain, who brought a snake, toad, hedgehog, and vole along for a meet and greet.

Thanks also to our visitors from Wildlife Aid who promoted volunteering opportunities for students aged 18+; local water engineering company Binnies for showcasing sustainable careers; and the Energy Centre – the UK’s first high street renewable energy showroom – who offered energy saving tips.
