In the Spring Term, the Classical Civilisation department ran a competition to encourage their students to read around the subject. When a student had completed some reading they wrote a few short lines about what they had learned from it and submitted this as an entry.

Congratulations to Lower Sixth Student, Arlo Newton, who submitted an astonishing 10 entries. Arlo won a signed book by Professor Michael Scott “Ancient Worlds: An Epic History of East and West”. Thank you to Michael for supporting the competition and well done Arlo for winning.
