Before accepting a place at Reigate, students should investigate the time and cost involved with travelling to and from College.

For information about public transport links to the College, please see  Surrey County Council's student fare card scheme is for students aged between 16 and 18 who live in the administrative county of Surrey.  It allows travel on buses or trains at reduced rates for journeys to and from College.  It must be applied for online.

16 – 18 year olds who DO NOT live in the administrative area of Surrey can purchase child rate bus tickets if they have a Southdown buses student fare card. Please visit the Southdown Buses website to find out more.
It is recommended that students travelling from the London Borough of Sutton look into the available bus and train services.  Here are some examples:
Train: Departs Sutton 0724 arrives Reigate 0828, or Departs Sutton 0754, arrives Reigate 0842.  Route: change at Dorking (main) and Dorking Deepdene.
Bus (Metrobus 420): Departs Sutton Station 0705 arrives Reigate (Bancroft Road) 0827.  Route: Sutton/Belmont/Banstead/Tattenham Way/Tadworth/Lower Kingswood/Reigate.

Local bus timetables can be found at  including the timetable for the 357 bus.

Due to the limited amount of parking available, there is NO student parking at the College.

As explained above, the vast majority of students will not get any financial help with their travel expenses unless they can prove a) severe financial hardship and b) that Reigate College is their nearest course provider. Please contact the Bursary Officer,, for further information.
