All the necessary information regarding College trips can be found below.
Booking and Payment for Non-compulsory trips
Non-Compulsory trips should be booked through the MyEvolve platform using a parent account. Please read the full instructions on how to set up an account.
- Payment is taken at the time of booking.
- Bookings are confirmed only once payment and parental consent have been submitted.
- Payments are non-refundable for non-attendance unless the trip is cancelled by the College.
- Places are normally offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If a trip sells out, parents can join a waiting list on MyEvolve. If a place becomes available, the parent will be notified by email.
Booking and Payment for Compulsory trips
For compulsory trips, places are pre-booked by the College on behalf of relevant students, and a link will be sent to parents/guardians for them to consent to the trip and make payment (via MyEvolve).
Consent
A parent or guardian must complete a consent form via MyEvolve for every trip and within 24 hours of payment. Students will not be able to attend a trip unless parental consent has been given.
Bursary Support
Students in receipt of a 16–19 Bursary may be eligible for financial support with compulsory and non-compulsory trips. For guidance, please contact bursary@reigate.ac.uk
Attendance
Where trips take place during College hours, attendance is marked as authorised. Students should attend all other timetabled lessons outside the trip time unless advised otherwise by their subject teacher.
Travel and Supervision
All trips are fully risk-assessed and approved in line with the College’s Educational Visits procedures. Students and staff must travel together on College-arranged transport. We will provide full details of departure and return times and meeting points via MyEvolve and/or email.
Food and Allergies
If a day trip, students should bring sufficient food and drink for the day. Please ensure that no nuts or products containing nuts are brought on any College trip. Students who require medication (e.g. inhalers or EpiPens) must carry it with them and inform the trip leader before departure.
Behaviour and Conduct
All students are expected to follow the College Code of Conduct at all times.
This includes:
- No alcohol, smoking, or vaping
- Respectful behaviour towards staff, other students, and the public
- Following staff instructions throughout the day
- Failure to meet these expectations may result in disciplinary action or exclusion from future trips.
Contact on the Day
If a student is unwell or delayed on the day of travel, please call the trip mobile number, which will be provided prior to the trip.
