Congratulations to Upper Sixth Sara Castells Day who was one of the winners of a Photography Competition organised by the Stanley Arts Centre, in Norwood.
Sara, who was previously at Coloma Convent School and is studying Photography, Film and Creative Digital Media Production at the College, had her work selected from over 300 entries. It’s now showcased with that of other winners, as part of an exhibition at the arts centre www.stanleyarts.org
The Photography Competition was created by Stanley Arts Centre to celebrate Croydon and its status as the London Borough of Culture 2024, funded by Historic England. The exhibition presents iconic Croydon structures, everyday homes, high streets and green spaces.
Kristina Sinclair, Course Leader of A Level Photography at the College said, “Sara’s work utilises a wonderful combination of leading lines, angles and reflections to capture the glass fronted tower in Croydon Town Centre. I’m extremely proud of her, she’s done incredibly well.”
