Lower and Upper Sixth Business students enjoyed a visit from Matthew Pegg, from the Centre for Central Banking Studies, that’s part of the Bank of England
Matthew’s excellent talk included the history behind the bank, bank notes, interest rates and economic stability.
Head of BTEC Business at Reigate College Michelle Theophilus commented, “It was an excellent insight visit. We particularly enjoyed hearing how the institution has evolved in a changing environment and how interest rates effect business and individuals in the economy. Students also benefited from hearing about apprenticeship opportunities in Finance and Management.”
