Well done to Film Studies and Creative Digital Media student Spencer Boys, who presented his promotional film for HomeStart East Surrey to a packed gala event of over 250 people on 14 May. Guests included the honourable Mayor and Mayoress of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead and member of parliament for Reigate Rebecca Paul.
Spencer has been working on the promotional film for the local charity HomeStart for the last few months with Film Studies joint course leader Yvonne McCoach. The beautifully crafted film involved interviewing employees and key stakeholders, as well as on-location filming.
The film will also be screened at the Everyman cinema as part of the Reigate Summer Festival’s “Film Festival” (20 and 21 June) – see www.reigatesummerfestival.co.uk
Yvonne McCoach said: “Throughout this whole production period Spencer has been the consummate professional: mature, enthusiastic and hard working. It was an absolute pleasure and honour to stand on stage with him while he introduced his work at HomeStart East Surrey’s 30th celebration Summer Ball at Denbies wine estate on 14 May. His fantastic work ethic and professional demeanour will be exactly what future employers will be looking for.”
