On 11 November, Lower Sixth students on the BTEC Sport course (one A Level equivalent), took part in a trip to Wimbledon’s ‘All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club’ (AELTC).

Sports Teacher Rob Jones, who organised the trip explains, “The purpose of the visit was to see a world famous sporting venue, learn about the business and running of the Wimbledon Championships and explore first-hand possible careers in Sport – beyond the obvious ones like Coaching and Physiotherapy.  Our students thoroughly enjoyed the day and we’d all like to say a huge thankyou to the brilliant Wimbledon staff who hosted us.”
