A mix of 32 Engineering and Product Design students visited the BMW Mini plant in Oxford on January 27. Course teacher Thomas Jacobs said, “This annual trip is hugely valuable as our students can get up close to state-of-the art technology, witness every aspect of the production journey and find out how sustainability is being planned into design.”  The Oxford site is one of the oldest car plants in the world and original birthplace of the Mini.
