On 8 July, 23 students from across the College headed to Fidelity International’s Kingswood campus for the first of three fact-finding visits on careers, apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities in finance.

Careers Advisor Amy Ingrassia said, “Our students really got a feel for working life in Fidelity’s amazing offices and connected with a host of welcoming employees, including apprentices and other professionals working in a range of roles.

“It was great to see our students deepen their understanding of the sector and learn more about the career pathways open to them, whether that’s straight after College or after graduating from university.”

One student commented, “I gained great insights into the financial services industry and got the chance to interact with professionals from various departments, which broadened my understanding of the company’s functions and culture.”
