Music Tech students visit Brighton Electric Studio

Lower Sixth A Level Music Technology students visited Brighton Electric Studio and spent a full day in a professional recording environment, learning how to set up and record a song.

In the weeks leading up to the trip, they formed bands and rehearsed their chosen song, and then on the day, spent and exciting 8 hours capturing a high-quality recording.

Course leader for Music Technology Alexis McNulty-Bakas said, “The trip directly supports students’ coursework by enhancing their recording skills and preparing them for their upcoming recording project. Students love the environment of a professional studio and leave feeling inspired and more confident in their recording abilities.’
