Nestlé work experience – the results are in!

Following on from a very successful skills and assessment day held in March, Nestlé has offered eight Reigate College students a week’s paid work experience in the summer. The students who made it through the tough selection process are Joe Bolton, Millie Darby, Jessica May Fahmi, Adele Giddens Williams, Lucy Goodger, Thomas Ruffle, Freeman Richards-Ahonsi and Curtis Tackie.

Millie, who is studying A Level English Language & Literature and BTEC Subsidiary Diplomas in Law and Business, was over the moon to be chosen, saying: “I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience with Nestlé – it was not only challenging but a lot of fun. I was thrilled when I found out that I had been given the chance to work at Nestlé for a week and would recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity.”

A total of 15 places were offered so to have over half from Reigate College is a fantastic achievement and testament to the professionalism and high standards of performance the students showed on the selection day. Sam Burnett, Work Experience Co-ordinator, said of the news: “We’re delighted that the College will be so well represented on the scheme and wish all the students well in what could potentially be their first steps in a career at Nestlé or the wider industry.”
