Ellen Walkinshaw, Associate Director of Progression at the College commented, “We’re delighted that these students have been recognised for their ability and potential by the admissions tutors. It’s testament to their hard work and determination and it’s particularly pleasing to note that half of these offer holders meet one or more widening participation criteria, including first generation to university.”
She continued, “We did of course have outstanding students who were unsuccessful in their Oxbridge applications, but I’m thrilled to see that they’ve all now received offers from other top universities including Imperial, Durham and UCL. I know all our prospective Oxbridge students will join me in thanking their subject mentors and their Aspire Tutors for the support they provided during the admissions process.”
