Oxbridge offers come flooding in

Oxford and Cambridge successful applicants

Congratulations to the 11 students who’ve received conditional offers for Oxford or Cambridge.

Oxford:
Edua Borbely (Queens: PPE), Isabelle Haywood (Christ Church: PPE), Lincoln Hewitt (Magdalen: Law), Asma Issa (Christ Church: English) and Alice Northover (Magdalen: Classics II).

Cambridge:
Yosef Abdelhalim (Corpus Christi: Law), Laura Dampier (Queens: Maths with Physics), Lili Finch (Murray Edwards: Maths), Gemma Heathcote (Peterhouse: Classics), Martha Shaylor (Downing HSPS), Tabitha Wren (Peterhouse: ASNC).

Ellen Walkinshaw, Director of Progression at the College, who also heads the College’s Aspire Programme said, “I’m thrilled for these 11 students. It’s such an incredibly competitive area and it’s great to see that within the group of 11, there are several ‘first generation’ university students and students who meet our other widening participation criteria. Of the others who applied, a further 12 were invited to interview and did very well to reach that stage. All of those who applied have a range of offers, from other highly competitive universities.”
