Paintballing fun triggers teamworking

27 Public Services and Sport & Exercise Science students honed their teamworking, leadership and communication skills at a Go Paintball experience on June 4.

Sport teacher Nick Moynihan commented, “It was a great way for students to bond and interact with others to whom they may not usually speak. This kind of experience really helps to develop the soft skills our students need for a career in public service or sport coaching.

“Our students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was fantastic to see two students, Kasey-Joe Holton and Kyle Kopp, awarded dog tags by the event managers for their outstanding display of sportsmanship.  That’s what it’s all about.”

Our thanks to Nick and his colleagues as well as the team at Go Paintball Caterham for an exhilarating life lesson in the power of paint!
