Upper Sixth BTEC Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) students gave an absolutely fantastic performance in their Final Showcase on Tuesday 1st May. Featuring extracts from Waitress, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, The Greatest Showman, Sister Act, School of Rock and 42nd Street, the evening was the perfect opportunity for students to shine through dance, drama and song – and shine they did!
Head of Musical Theatre Zoe Dunkley commented, “The students all worked so hard and can be truly proud of their outstanding performances. Over the past two years, they’ve really bonded as a group so it was an evening they will remember for a long time wherever they go next.”
Many of the students are continuing with their Performing Arts training and have accepted offers from places such as the Guildford School of Acting, Italia Conti, The Institute of the Arts Barcelona and BRICTT.
