In the Spring term, Classical Civilisation students were challenged to extend the breadth and depth of understanding of the subject by taking part in the departmental reading competition and making use of the department’s extensive Classics Library.
The winner of the competition for the second year running was Arlo Newton, who made an impressive 9 entries. They won a signed copy of Emily Wilson’s translation of the Iliad.
