Students interested in a career in the Armed Forces had the chance to meet with Army personnel when an Army Bus visited the College on Monday 15th October.
The visit formed part of the Army Team Building Day, specifically designed for Upper Sixth and Intermediate Public Services students.
The Upper Sixth students had a chance to demonstrate and develop their leadership and teamwork skills through a series of challenging team-building activities led by Army officers at the College’s Wallfield Sports Ground. Personal and interpersonal skills were the focus of the Intermediate students’ activities as they worked towards the ‘Working Skills in the Public Sector’ element of the course.
The day was a fantastic opportunity for students to learn more about life in the Army.
