On the 27th March, 35 Lower Sixth Classical Civilisation students visited Rome for a 3 night/4 day trip in which they experienced a huge amount of what Rome had to offer.
Their trip involved inspiring visits to the Vatican Museums and Cistine Chapel, the Colosseum, Ara Pacis, Roman and Imperial fora, the Baths of Caracalla and the Palazzo Massimo museum. In addition to all this, they also saw Augustus’ Mausoleum, the Spanish Steps and Trajan’s column!
It was a real whirlwind of a trip and the students fully involved themselves in all aspects and were, as always a real credit to the department.
