This year’s Equality and Community Day was moved into the virtual world with students and staff joining together for a live-streamed online event on Thursday 18th June.

Hosted by Reigate College Equality Officer Rob Walton-Kinghorn, the live event focussed on Community Values, featuring videos from the SU and members of staff. Special guest Andrew Bickerdike from this year’s chosen charity SASH joined for a live question and answer session, and there was also a discussion of the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The event finished with a live raffle draw, which raised over £1,300 for SASH, and an exclusive first reveal of the College’s ‘Times Like These’ cover of the Foo Fighters original, put together by the Music Department.
