Thursday 11th October saw the Refectory transformed into a top party venue for this year’s metallic-themed Freshers’ Party.

The Students’ Union had been hard at work in the afternoon putting up all manner of metallic decorations to create the perfect atmosphere for the sell-out event, one of the highlights of the College’s social calendar.

As evening came and this year’s Freshers filled the hall, the party was soon in full swing, with students enjoying the top DJ, live bands (including a set from the 2018 Battle of the Bands winners, Turtle Soup) and the free Photo Booth.

A huge thank you to the SU Committee for all their work in organising and hosting the event.
