The College was abuzz with activity during the annual Equality and Community Day held this year on Tuesday 26th June.
Under the blazing sun, students were challenged to try their hand at the inflatable assault course, giant Jenga, Connect 4 and sack races, before the competition got really fierce with staff v students netball, volleyball, dodgeball and the legendary tug-of-war.
For those who preferred a less energetic day, there was the chance to sit back and enjoy the dance show and performances from student bands or try a spot of face-painting.
The catering team provided a special barbeque lunch, giving everyone the chance to refuel before the activities were wrapped up with a quiz.
Our thanks to the new Students’ Union for organising such a fantastic series of events.
All the money raised on the day is being donated to the Camomile Courtyard appeal to create a dementia-friendly garden at East Surrey Hospital.
