Yesterday saw our annual Get Ahead Day in full swing across the College campus. As well as 1:1 tutor planning meetings, a skills review and talks, Lower Sixth students had the chance to connect with well over 100 universities, apprenticeship providers, a gap year company and further education colleges in a packed Sports Hall.
It was great to see some familiar faces with a number of alumni staffing stands on behalf of Atkins Realis, JP Morgan, RSM UK and Warner Bros. Discovery in the Apprenticeship Zone.
Director of Progression Ellen Walkinshaw said, “Get Ahead Day is a key stepping stone to Progression Day – our next big careers event in June – when students choose which Upper Sixth pathway they would like to follow to reach their goals.
“Huge thanks to all our exhibitors, our wonderful staff for their hard work putting on the day and to our students for asking lots of questions and focusing on their futures.”
