Our thanks to former student Connor Strudwick who returned to Reigate College on Monday 16th September to speak to over 40 Lower and Upper Sixth Product Design students.

Connor studied Product Design, Media Studies, Information Technology and Applied Science at Reigate College and is now in his final year of a BA Product Design course at Nottingham Trent University. He was keen to share with current students his experiences of studying Product Design at degree level and to give them some advice on identifying the right design course for them and then going on to make a successful application. He also spoke about the benefits of doing a placement year and shared tips on preparing a portfolio.

Connor is part of Reigate College’s Alumni community, a professional network of over 2000 former students. “We’re passionate about keeping in touch with our former students,” explains Alumni Officer Laura Troop, “and recognise that they can play an important role in helping advise and inspire existing students.”
