Year 10 students from some of the College’s partner schools have been involved in a series of taster sessions at the College to help develop their interest in Medicine, Veterinary Science Dentistry (MVD), and other healthcare related fields.
As well as meeting Lower Sixth students on the College’s MVD Programme, the Year 10s collaborated with College students on a Public Health Campaign that involved producing a campaign poster for the general public. They also took part in some lively debates about Medical Ethics and Animal Welfare.
Liz Sanders who runs the College’s MVD Programme and Careers in Health pathway said, “I was really impressed by the standard of the Public Health Campaign posters and the ability of the Year 10 partner school students to articulate their opinions both respectfully and thoughtfully.”
