On Wednesday 13th February Robert Foley (professional West End performer and choreographer) from the Institute of the Arts Barcelona came into College to run a workshop with the Upper Sixth Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) students.
As well as a practical movement class and audition tips, he shared some inside showbiz information with the students making it an incredibly worthwhile and valuable experience for everyone involved.
Musical Theatre teacher Zoe Dunkley summarised the day, “Rob’s all-inclusive class focused on professionalism and personality which the students found really inspiring. Every year Reigate College has students who successfully apply to the Institute of the Arts Barcelona and we hope that many students will continue to be trained there. The Institute will be back in September to work with our students once again and plans are underway to run a trip there next year.”
